Our lift floors guarantee you an 80% reduction of crushed piglets in the first days after farrowing. The sow is confined for the first three days. A spring automatically activates the floor when your sow stands up, so your team doesn't have to worry if the piglets walk underneath her. When the sow lies down, the flooring automatically lowers with her. This ensures the piglets always have access to the teats when she is lying down. After three days the flooring can be switched off. Your sows and piglets are now free to roam where they want in the pen, as the risk of piglet mortality has been minimized.
